Wendelstein is pleased to announce the promotion of Maximilian Ried to Counsel, effective 1 August 2026.

Maximilian studied at Heidelberg University. He earned his Magister Juris degree from the University of Oxford. Maximilian was a fellowship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German National Academic Foundation, and Linacre College at the University of Oxford. He began his career as an attorney at Wendelstein in 2017. Maximilian advises on national and international M&A projects, including private equity and venture capital investments, and across the full spectrum of corporate and individual partnership law. Most recently, he advised Schülke & Mayr GmbH on its acquisition of Pfennig Reinigungstechnik GmbH.
